Peter Andre has revealed his rise to fame as an bonny beau in the 90s fabricated him "arrogant".

The Mysterious Girl vocalizer, 48, has opened upwardly about his cyclone pop career and his reality Television set stints over the years, going back to where it all began in 1992 - when he released his kickoff single.

The onetime vocaliser rose to fame after winning the Goggle box talent show New Faces in Australia aged sixteen - later signing to a record label and launching his music career over in the UK.

Forth with the fame came a lot of attention, which young Peter loved.

At the time, he was all-time known for stripping shirtless and showing off his 6-pack - an iconic moment in his video for Mysterious Daughter.

In a new interview, Peter revealed how looks were so important to him back in the 90s equally he navigated his way through the earth of fame.

But information technology got to his head so much that he became "arrogant".

He told The Guardian : "At the superlative of my pop powers I was polite to people, but I recollect I had a sense of arrogance that I now regret.

"I can kind of see how information technology happened: I was No 1 and the hysteria from the fans was crazy. I went from being a shy kid to having this huge conviction, touring the world and travelling to incredible places."

Before he met ex-wife Katie Cost, Peter dated a Swiss Thai model chosen Champagne X - the woman who appeared in his music video.

The couple were together for a year and a half before breaking up due to distance.

Peter, who confessed he was obsessed with his trunk image in his 20s, then revealed how things turned effectually subsequently he met Katie during their I'm A Celebrity stint in 2004.

The dad-of-iv said he piled on three stone following his appearance on the show, when they became an official couple.

He continued: "Then I had a funny few years in my 30s when I came out of the I'1000 A Celebrity jungle and put on 3st.

"I vicious into ex-footballer syndrome: I had the attitude of: "I don't intendance. I've been preparation all my life, I don't desire to be told what to eat." I needed a break. But I didn't similar how that fabricated me feel either."

Peter said he tried every fad diet nether the sun, including Atkins, Keto, no fat, no carbs - which helped him lose weight, just "put it back on and then some".

Now, in his 40s, Peter says he has finally constitute a balance.

"I generally consume healthily, but some days I do want to have a doughnut with my java," he added. "Am I every bit ripped as I was? No, but I'chiliad not in bad shape for my age."
